Afterward, we head down to the riverside village of Sukau for two nights of unforgettable morning, afternoon, and night cruises along the Kinabatangan River. To top it all off, you will end your trip by walking the longest canopy skywalk in Sabah at the Rainforest Discovery Centre before heading home.
Tour Itinerary: The Ultimate Borneo Safari (3 DAYS and 2 Nights)
Day 1:
08:00hrs – Meet on upon arrival at Sandakan Airport or pick up from respective hotels in Sandakan. Proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, watching one of the nature’s most endangered animal species, the ‘Orang Utan’ or ‘Man of the Jungle’, first Visit the outdoor nursery to observe the baby Orang Utan going through their daily practise at the jungle gym. Next more to platform see Orang Utan swing from branches to branches towards the feeding platform in the forest. After Sepilok, proceed to the nearby Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center to see the world’s smallest bear in its natural environment.
11:20hrs – Sepilok to Gomantong Cave (A stop for lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant on the way to Gomantong Cave)
14:00hrs – Gomantong Cave, a massive limestone cave system inside Gomantong Hill, renowned as a premier source of valuable edible swiftlet bird nests
15:30hrs – Arrival at Sukau, Briefing & check in.
16:20hrs – Assemble near the jetty & Afternoon Cruise (1.5-2 hrs)
19:00hrs – Dinner
20:00hrs – Night Cruise (1 hr)
Day 2:

09:00hrs – Checkout and continue to visit Rainforest Discovery Centre, RDC is the gateway to getting to know the uniqueness and importance of Borneo’s rainforests. Look around and you will enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna found within this area. The main highlight of this green place is of course its skywalk with an extensive length of 620 meters, the longest in Sabah. Among other attractions in RDC are the opportunities to walk around the many loop trails around the Kabili-Sepilok forest reserve, Sepilok Giant, Plant Discovery Garden, exhibition hall and marvel at the breath-taking nature view around their iconic lake.

REFUNDS: In the event of heavy rain, for the safety reason we reserve the right not to conduct the boat cruise. No refund is available any cancellation after the tour has commenced, or in respect of any accommodation, transport or any other services.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The organizer has the sole and absolute discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour in the event of force majeure, hostilities, accident or other circumstances beyond the control of the organiser which render it necessary in the organizer’s reasonable opinion that such steps be taken.
